I got my nose pierced today. I also got a new lip stud with a music note. I'm super proud I got my nose pierced. I was so nervous but it wasn't too bad at all.
I'm starting a photo project involving people and their tattoos. I want to photograph their tattoos and them. I want to get the person's personality to come out through their tattoos and show who that person is. It's going to have meaning and purpose and be great for the client too. I'm very excited to be starting this project next weekend.
I feel as if people need to realize what is real and what is unreal. Real is something you can actually physically see, hear and touch. It's that human interaction with someone that cannot even be replaced with a phone call or internet conversation. Yes a phone call can brighten your day or an email, but it pales in comparisson to real one on one human interaction with someone. A lot of people strive for hundreds of likes on a Facebook status or 100,000 friends on your page. That's not what matters most. Family and real close friends are what matter. I have met a few great people over the internet and that's great, but usually the connections that you make with someone you may never even meet that person. It's a fake relationship, don't get me wrong it's nice to talk to those people and have them like a pen pal. It's just not the same. I know some people have a hard time making new friends and get social anxiety when they try to branch out, but if you want to ever have growth and move on up in life's ladder you need to be brave and strong and put on those man jeans and balls it up. It's not an overnight thing and I'm not saying go right out and meet your facebook buddy you have been wanting to but you need to make bigger and better steps to change your life for the positive. So many people just dwell on their faults and flaws and worry that they can't or won't be able to do something and all it does is hold them back. Life is all about chances and taking those chances or you will never know what you have missed out on till it's too late in life. Everyone has some sort of flaw and we are all only humans in the flesh. We bleed all the same and scare and bruise alike. Rise to the occasion, strap up your bra or put on your boxers and jump right into something new. Don't just think about it or talk about it, actually do it! Don't just sit back and bitch about your problems and do nothing to fix them. You can do it and everyone has the potential to do great. We are our own worst enemies sometimes and we can bring ourselves right back down. We get into this comfortable norm. and we are too scared to jump out of it into the big bold world around us. Come on and let's all be the best us that we can!!!
